PONTYPRIDD GREYHOUND STADIUM

This site is not an official website for the track shown here and is neither approved or endorsed by the stadium. I am indebted to Richard English for helping to construct this page. 

The Welsh town of Pontypridd has had at least two greyhound tracks in the past, the earliest being at Taff Vale Park. That track closed in 1932 and in March 1932 a new track opened on School Lane. The track was called the Hawthorn Greyhound Stadium and racing continued at the purpose built track, with very good facilities, until closing in 1960.

The ground on which the former track once stood has now reverted to a rugby pitch.
